I’VE DECIDED NOT TO TEACH MY CHILDREN TO LOOK FOR CARS WHEN CROSSING THE STREET.
When they grow up they can decide for themselves whether looking for cars is the right thing for them.
Children should be released to grow naturally, to experiment with life and make their own decisions.
Creating alarm about cars killing people is gruesome and distressing.
It may lead to a sense of paranoia about cars.
We want our children to grow up unafraid of cars and realize they are wonderful transportation devices and distinguishing status symbols.
When they grow up they can make decisions on their own regarding what they believe about looking before crossing the street.
After all, we decide not to tell our children about God for the same reasons.
