Pam tells me she wants to get a cap with a Texas star on it. We have been Oregonians, Pennsylvanians, Washingtonians, Tennesseans, and this is our new day. We have met delightful, friendly, sincere people here in Abilene. Pam has said, “We’ve found our tribe.”
As well a connecting with our friends the Bellas and the Israel Prayer Mission, and with our friends the Poormans and Iris Abilene, we are meeting precious Saints from various churches and people in the community. We have connected with a community prayer group and with some of the local pastors. New names are going onto our prayer board!
Iris Abilene is sending a container of treasures to Mozambique with the help of Global Samaritan, which is based here. Along with the students from the Adventures in Mission program at Camp Barkeley Pam and I got to assist in packing pallets with things like computers, TV’s, optical and dental equipment, stuff animals, cloths and solar lighting. Too much fun, and at the same time, very meaningful!
Pam and I receive a fortifying prophetic word from Stacey Campbell as she and her husband were in town as part of the Iris Abilene board and ministered at a local church. To hear Stacey’s wonderful message on the prophetic ministry (starting at about 43 minutes) and her prophecy to Pam and I (starting at about 1:34) you can go to http://www.beltway.org/media/item/encounter-night-with-stacey-campbell/
